Ford’s sales of hybrid vehicles has continued to improve as the company set a new record in April 2024. The company set a new record in April 2024 selling 17,997 Hybrid vehicles in a single month. Its April 2024 sales of hybrid vehicles was a new record in itself and 60% higher than hybrid sales in April 2023.

Its new F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid also set a new monthly sales record in April 2024.

The sales of the new F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid remained 93.6% higher compared to the same month in the previous year. It makes F-150 hybrid America’s best selling full-size hybrid pickup. The early customers of the new 2024 model are also upgrading to the available 7.2kW Pro Power Onboard feature.

Ford’s Maverick Hybrid has remained the best-selling hybrid pickup over the first four months of 2024. Maverick Hybrid trucks sold 26,061 units over the first four months of 2024. Most of these customers have switched from other brands and segments. Around 59% of these customers had switched from other brands according to Ford.

Ford’s performance in the EV segment has also remained nothing less than overwhelming in April 2024. According to Teslarati, Ford grew its EV sales by 129.2% in April 2024 compared to the same month of the prior year. The growth was mainly driven by a growth in the sales of Mustang Mach E which experienced 204.7% sales growth in April 2024 compared to the same month in the prior year.

According to Teslarati, each EV in Ford’s lineup experienced at least 56% sales growth in April 2024 compared to the same month of the prior year.
